Bridge Systems Ltd is looking to recruit a person with a desire to learn about all aspects of Radio Communications.
You will be working with high tech equipment and much of your job will require skills in information technology, computers, and electronics. You might also be required to climb into tight spaces or up to heights to make repairs on radio equipment. You should have good communication skills as your job may include reporting problems to supervisors and customers. You will be taught new skills and learn about specific communication systems in use and systems about to be installed.
You will also learn about remote systems and how to deal with alarms and faults. Vehicle installations and using test equipment.
Training courses will be supplied to the successful candidate which will be structured throughout this 3-year trainee program with the view of becoming a Radio technician and possibly moving on to achieving the qualifications and experience to become a Radio Engineer.
A successful applicant would require the following attributes:
- A practical approach to manual tasks
- High School education qualifications including CDT
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Keen willingness to learn and advance through training.
- Smart Appearance
- Physically Fit
- Team Player
- Driving license would be beneficial but not necessary
The starting salary for this position would be national minimum wage (dependant on age) with a review after 2 months, salary increase will be based on performance.
